One of my all time favorite Twitter tools is Hootsuite. Why? Simply, it’s easy to use, provides a view of conversations between tweets, it’s url shortner, and of course, it’s scheduling capabilities. And now I have a NEW reason to love the Twitter application even more. It’s called Autoscheduling.
Not sure what’s the best time to tweet for your particular audience? Hootsuite now figures it out for you. This new feature eliminates the guesswork and determines the best time your tweet should be made public based on the activity of your timeline.
So how does this benefit you? Your tweets will now have a better chance of being seen by MORE of your followers. Remember not all of your followers actually see your tweet the first time. So posting and reposting your tweets at optimal times is good not only for business, but for your followers too. And it saves you time!
One of the biggest concerns I hear from clients is not having enough time to create tweets and engage with followers. This new option should reduce that concern because tweets can be scheduled in advanced and posted when your followers will see them. However, it will not save you from having to have a “human” presence on the platform.
So how do you autoschedule your tweets? If you already have a hootsuite account, just do what you normally do to generate a tweet the press the calendar icon to schedule it. When you press the calendar icon, the option to the new autoschedule tool will appear. Press the button next off “OFF” to turn autoscheduling on for your different social profiles connected to your account. And yes, you can reschedule the tweet should you change your mind.
Are you new to Hootsuite? Then allow me to make the proper introduction. This social media application not only allow posting to Twitter, but you can also post updates to Facebook, Google+, Foursquare, and even LinkedIn. There’s a few more options but these are most of the popular ones, especially for business.
As business owners or even individuals, Hootsuite provides great benefits at varying levels. There’s free and paid version which are affordable.
