Since our first meeting almost two years ago, filmmaker Naimah Fuller and I have stayed in touch via LinkedIn and Twitter. But it wasn’t until recently that we really engaged in a little conversation via Twitter about some of her recent work.

Fuller’s documentary film, “Home: The Great Migration of the 21st Century”, explores why many African-Americans are relocating to the south when in fact, many generations before them migrated to the north and the west to escape racism and Jim Crow laws.  After reviewing the film’s social profile’s I inquired how she would use Twitter to market her documentary.  What resulted was the consultation below.  After viewing this first part of our conversation, please share your comments and insights here on the blog.
